

I’m not sure if everyone noticed, but one can certainly make a parallel between The Caretaker leading Rose away from her mortally wounded father and giving her a new life and the way Red took young Liz away from the burning house with her dead father in it.

He was complex, a man with twisted morals who ends up paying a dear price for stealing the daughter he could not have otherwise had. Anyway, I was bummed that we didn’t get to spend nearly enough time with this character. Since each episode builds upon the others it was much easier to watch it this way.

Who could forget the great irony when Major Tom played Some particularly meaningful songs are. As a side note, his graveyard of secrets is just one giant fulcrum buried underground if you ask me. Many of the songs remind the listener of particular episodes. Unlike most Blacklisters, he has no nefarious motives, he’s just trying to protect his daughter and protect the decades of secrets at his disposal. His character on “The Blacklist” is both creepy (graveyards at night are always extra scary) and compassionate.
